I was looking for a comfortable soft sock for using when hiking, I think I have found them, with good walking boots these socks are the perfect ones.

After 77 years on this planet never had better socks. Have not tried them in very cold Scottish weather yet . Need longer ones for then . If I could order more than one pair at a time I would.

Having found the quality of my go-to merino socks taking a nose-dive, I looked for alternatives. One brand gave me 2 huge blisters on the sole of my foot. Then I tried these alpaca socks. I bought, on purpose, too large, washed tham as synthetics and now they fit perfectly despite repeated washings as synthetics. Soft, stretchy, temperature-regulating. Will now spend the next couple of months building up my stock of them for the next few years (a hedge against my autistic traits making me hate change). Just wish they also did both longer and shorter legs for winter and summer, but until then am utterly delighted with the 21 pairs I currently own.
